Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GLaDOS VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles personal information when providing its mobile and desktop applications (referred to as the 'App'). We process data under the principles of necessity, transparency, and minimization.

When you download, launch, or use this App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and usage duration. To improve route recommendations and connection quality, we may process approximate device location data. This information is used to: 1. recommend suitable routes based on the GLaDOS VPN node network; 2. analyze anonymized aggregate connection quality and improve service stability; 3. send important service updates, security notices, or necessary account messages to your reserved email or username. Access to sensitive information is limited according to this policy.

We only transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party providers (such as Google Play Services and Firebase) for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share personal information with third parties: 1. compliance with legal procedures or regulatory requirements; 2. protection of users, personal safety, property, or fraud investigation; 3. cooperation with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, remove the App through your device's standard uninstall process.

User-provided data will be retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account early and delete your personal profile, please contact our privacy team via [email protected]. This App is not intended for minors under the age of 13. We do not knowingly request data from this group, and if such information is found to have been collected by mistake, we will begin permanent deletion procedures. Guardians may contact us through the same email so that we can take appropriate action. We use physical and electronic safeguards to protect data confidentiality.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to regulatory, product, or business changes. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after an update is published will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025. If you have questions or suggestions about our privacy practices, contact the GLaDOS VPN team by email ([email protected]).
